How much is delivery for the batteries?

The price for delivery will depend on your location, prices are based on a set of batteries:

Freight

All shipments are made in accordance with the delivery schedule using Toll. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you also agree to Toll terms and conditions for delivery as a condition of the sale. Shipment will be made to the indicated address on the order, we cannot commit to a certain time or arrange a specific delivery time to work around your commitments. Can I just buy one battery?

No, to keep our prices low we operate in bulk purchases only. It is also common knowledge that you should always replace the entire set of batteries even if one battery has a single dead cell.

Can I speak to someone about batteries or come and see you at your location?

Yes, feel free to call us on 0488 231 794 or come and see us at 11 Bowen Cresent, West Gosdford NSW – however, the prices advertised on our website are only available for online purchases unless otherwise stated.

Can these batteries be used for other applications?

Yes, these batteries may be suitable for forklifts, other brands of golf carts, marine and other machines or vehicles which require lead acid batteries. Please check suitability for your application before purchasing, there are no refunds for batteries which are not suited for your application.

Will US Batteries or Trojan be delivered?

We carry only the best batteries - US Batteries and Trojan are industry leaders in deep cycle lead acid batteries, the brand of battery delivered will depend on stock availability and your location at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to dispatch either branded product however we can attempt to ship your preferred brand of battery in some cases at our absolute discretion.

Is there a refund policy?

It is important to know that there are no refunds available for any reason other than those legally mandatory. Please make sure prior to your purchase that the items suit your required application as we cannot refund for the purchase of an incorrect set of batteries, this includes but is not limited to incorrect terminals, voltage, amp hours, size and any other reason why the purchased product is not suitable for your requirements.

The failure rate for quality lead acid batteries is very low, however if a battery is faulty when delivered, we will replace (not refund) the battery after you have returned the battery to 11 Bowen Crescent West Gosford, NSW. As part of the terms and conditions of the sale, you agree to our ‘Refund Policy’.

Is there a Warranty on the batteries?

Warranty is limited to that which is provided by the manufacturer of the battery.

US Battery WARRANTY STATEMENT

U.S. Battery Manufacturing Company guarantees its products to be free of any manufacturing defects for a period of one-year. This limited warranty only covers defects in material and workmanship. The free replacement one-year period begins at date of purchase. No labour or transportation expenses are included in this limited warranty. (US 1800 and all “E” line batteries carry a reduced six-month free replacement period).

Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose shall be void and excluded subsequent to one-year from the date of purchase. The replacement of the battery is the exclusive remedy under this written warranty or any implied warranty. U.S. Battery Manufacturing Company makes no other representation or warranty of any kind, and no representative, employee, distributor or dealer has the authority to make or imply any representation, promise, or agreement, which in any way varies the terms of this limited warranty. All batteries being submitted for warranty must be returned to the place of purchase for testing and evaluation. Onsite service would be available in most locations at an additional charge. Service charges will vary from location to location, distance travelled and number of batteries involved.

The provisions of this limited warranty shall not apply to failure due to:
Abuse or neglect such as improper fluid levels, loose wiring, or rusted or corroded hardware; Lack of proper maintenance; Damage caused by improper installation of the battery; Neglect, breakage, freezing, fire, explosion, wreckage, the addition of any chemical, operation of the battery in an overcharged, or the operation of the battery in an uncharged condition (below half-charge – 1.200 specific gravity); and a battery charged by systems other than the original equipment type battery charger.

THIS BATTERY IS INTENDED TO BE USED BY PERSONS WITH TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE WITH BATTERIES. ANY OTHER USE RENDERS THE LIMITED WARRANTIES EXPRESSED HERIN AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES NULL AND VOID AND SAME ARE HERBY EXCLUDED.

ALSO EXCLUDED FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE ANY AND ALL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF USE OR REVENUE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVIENIENCE OR ANY OTHER ECONOMIC LOSS.

Warranty Limitations

U.S. Battery’s liability shall be to replace the defective battery. Replacement shall mean furnishing a new battery or used battery with sufficient life to complete the warranty term, which is incidental or reasonably equivalent to the warranted product at no cost to the purchaser during the replacement period.

Damage not resulting from a defect in materials or workmanship or which occurs due to abuse or neglect (including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance), transportation, accident or alteration is excluded from this limited warranty.

Trojan Worldwide Limited warranty

Trojan Battery Company (“Manufacturer”) warrants each Trojan-Branded RE Series battery sold to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a the periods as defined below from the date of purchase, as evidenced by the original receipt (the “Warranty Period”). Within the Warranty Period, subject to the exclusions listed below, Manufacturer will replace the Battery free of charge if replacement is necessary due to defects in material or workmanship. This Limited Warranty is limited to solar or renewable energy applications only and also limited to the original purchaser of the Battery, and is not transferable to any other person or entity. The battery owner will read warning labels on the battery and exercise due care in working on or around it. When adding water to the battery, the owner may use any method, tool, or system, as long as they maintain the fluid at the recommended level and do not over or under-water the battery. The battery is intended to be used by persons with training or experience with batteries.

NOT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY:

Manufacturer has no obligation under this Limited Warranty with respect to any defects in or damage to the Battery arising from any abuse or mishandling of the Battery, or from any one of more of the following:

Neglect, such as improper fluid levels (under or over watering), damage from shipping, loose wiring, or rusted or corroded hardware.
Misapplied or improperly sized Battery for the application.
Batteries exposed to excessive heat or cold temperatures.
Batteries that have had the manufacturing date codes destroyed or tampered with.
Breakage, freezing, explosion, fire, wreckage, overcharging, undercharging, over discharging, charging or installing in reverse polarity, improper maintenance, melted terminals, improper storage, or addition of any chemical or solution other approved water; or
Failure to properly install the Battery.

HOW TO RECEIVE WARRANTY SERVICE:

To resolve problems covered by this warranty for renewable energy applications, contact the local distributor you purchased the batteries from to confirm the battery condition/defect. You will need to provide proof of purchase along with the date code for the batteries. The Solar and Renewable Energy Limited Warranty starts from the date sold and applies only to solar/renewable energy applications. During the free replacement period, the battery will be repaired or replaced with an in kind replacement. Pro-ration is based on manufacturer’s suggested retail price at time of purchase using the formula below:

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM:

To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, please submit a completed “Battery Test Sheet” to Trojan Battery Tech Support (Technical@trojanbattery.com). Batteries will be eligible for warranty only after verification of the Battery Test Sheet by Trojan Tech Support determines that a manufacturing defect exists. Trojan may request Batteries claimed for warranty be returned to Trojan for inspection from time to time and, if it is determined that any such Batteries do not have a Defect, the warranty claim for such Batteries will be denied.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER:

This limited warranty is in lieu of, and manufacturer disclaims and excludes, all other warranties, whether statutory, express or implied warranties, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the warranty period. Manufacturer’s exclusive liability for breach of any warranty on the battery shall be to replace the battery within the warranty period in accordance with the terms of this limited warranty. In no event shall manufacturer be liable for any loss or damages of any other kind, whether direct, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special or otherwise, including any lost profits or removal, shipping, or installation expenses.

LEGAL RIGHTS:

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from country to country or state to state. Some countries and states do not allow any limitation on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
